This policy applies to visitors to senropay.com, people who contact us, prospective and current merchants, partners, suppliers and authorised users of SenroPay services.
For merchant payment data, SenroPay may act as a controller or processor depending on the service and contractual arrangement. The applicable merchant agreement and data-processing terms take priority where they provide more specific instructions.
Information we collect
We may collect contact and business information, account and authentication data, support correspondence, technical logs, device and browser information, integration data, transaction references and compliance information required for onboarding.
We do not ask website visitors to provide full payment-card credentials by email. Payment data collected through enabled payment experiences is handled according to the relevant payment flow, provider arrangement and security controls.
How and why we use information
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, assess and onboard merchants, provide and secure services, support integrations, prevent fraud and misuse, meet legal obligations, improve reliability and communicate material service updates.
When you submit the website sales-enquiry form, the information is used to assess your request, route it to the appropriate team and manage follow-up communications. Our lawful bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations and consent where required.
Sharing and international transfers
We may share information with authorised staff, payment and technology providers, professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies and other parties where required to deliver a service or comply with law. We do not sell personal data.
Where information is transferred across borders, we use contractual, organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the destination, the data and applicable law.
Website analytics and lead generation
With your permission, we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate traffic, page and section usage, navigation patterns, conversions and technical experience. Analytics are disabled until you choose “Accept analytics.” We do not use these tools to send form fields, names, email addresses, payment credentials or message contents.
Microsoft Clarity may provide session-quality signals and recordings of public marketing pages. Enquiry forms are configured to mask their fields and contents. Analytics and recordings are not intended for payment-entry pages, merchant dashboards or authenticated transaction environments.
Sales-enquiry details submitted on this website are stored in SenroPay’s access-controlled lead database so authorised personnel can assess your request, manage the commercial conversation and follow up. We do not require you to open your own email application to submit the form.
You can accept or reject analytics and change your choice through the “Cookie preferences” control. Essential infrastructure, security logs and the device-local record of your preference remain necessary to operate and protect the website.
Retention, security and cookies
We retain data only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, contractual commitments, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal or regulatory record-keeping. Retention periods vary by data type and relationship.
We use proportionate access controls, encryption, logging, monitoring and supplier oversight. We do not intentionally use advertising cookies or sell personal data. Where analytics providers set identifiers or use similar technologies, they are loaded only after the visitor has granted analytics consent.
Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya or another competent authority.
